你們知道最簡單的減少大量的碳排放是減少進肉食和乳製品嗎?這場講座將會探討香港人的食肉文化與氣候變化的關係。研究結果顯示,香港的肉類和乳製品消費量所造成的碳排放量高於香港的溫室氣體總排放量。講座會討論肉類產品造成的環境影響並反思我們應該如何從個人飲食習慣開始,大幅減少溫室氣體排放。

中西區2019年開始舉辦首季免費蔬食工作坊,歡迎區內朋友參加,內容有世界各地蔬食文化體驗,烹飪方法,蔬食材料知識,分析氣球暖化面面觀與全球可持續發展關係


首場工作坊與1月5日(星期六)上午10時至1時舉行,地點為上環皇后大道中新紀元廣場181號11樓,活動將以英語及廣東話進行。

Did you know that eating less meat and dairy products is the easiest way to reduce carbon emissions? The talk will highlight the relationship between Hong Kong’s intense meat consumption culture and climate change. Research is showing that emissions related to meat and dairy consumption in Hong Kong are higher than the city’s total greenhouse gas emissions. This talk will explain how meat and dairy products create huge environmental impacts and reflect on how we can significantly reduce carbon emissions by making a change to a plant based diet.
