A vegan diet can be one of the healthiest ways to live. Plant-based diets should contain plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, beans, legumes, nuts and seeds. Vegan City Project is managed by the Hong Kong Early Childhood Education and Services Association established in 1982 (CECES), a social service charity recognized by the Hong Kong Government, and by Hong Kong Vegan Association (HKVA), with the mission to provide training platforms for vegan lifestyles, focusing on human health, preventing the cruel slaughtering animals for human consumption, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions associated with animal husbandry.
